Here are some (of the many) grammatical mistakes in signs (mostly restaurants) that I noticed on my recent visit to The Isle of Wight.

Welcome back Mr Pedantic.
How many days did you spend researching this topic. I must visit this culinary paradise. Thought price of cod and chips in your favourite greasyspoon was a bit steep!! For the record found about 10.

After having another look I found 12. Had a blonde moment, didn't realise had to read the menu lol

I'm glad to see somebody else looks at mistakes and has a good sneer - mind you, I have to be careful I don't make lots of my own errors. 2 years ago, 2 days after my 70th birthday, I was carried out of work in a chair. The stroke knackered ny word processor (and my mental arithmetic, but that not so much of a pest)
my bete noir = between you and I
irritating buzzwords, often found in health board publications = proactive, protocol, performance audit.
